The BCIT Venture Development Centre has announced the launch of a virtual business centre that will assist start-up and growth-oriented entrepreneurial enterprises across British Columbia.
In partnership with local Chamber’s of Commerce throughout B.C., the virtual business centre will broadcast workshops and offer other educational tools via the internet starting later this year.
The announcement was made at the inaugural event in the BCIT Small Business Growth Series. The Workshop and Networking Day features the following interactive workshops specifically developed for current and aspiring small business owners:
• Media wise relations: Making the media work for you
• Actions that grow your business
• Using video to turn your blogs into bucks.
A networking and trade show/exhibit area provided attendees an opportunity to market their products and services.
