Coming all the way from Ramgarh, a small town that provides 100 neighboring villages with an Educational Institute like Mai Bhago College, Mrs. Ranbir Kaur, 50, is a well-established Driving Instructor in Surrey. Now the owner of Punjab Driving School, she moved to Canada in 1989 and struggled with getting the right job. She established her business after receiving an instructor’s license in 1995. Since then, she has taught countless young drivers. Her background as a teacher in India has benefited her as an Instructor. With a work schedule that keeps her immensely busy she still finds time to read her favorite author, Jaswant Singh Kanwal. A member of Mata Bhag Kaur Association, she teaches young children about Sikh History. She is also a member of the Lower Mainland Driving School Association. “I work very hard towards helping all my students learn driving in Canada. Over the years I have learnt that patience is a key quality when coaching another person,” says Mrs. Kaur.
