Born all the way south in Pune, but raised in the Northern city of Jalandhar, Mrs. Manmohanjit Kaur remembers her growing up years in the hustle and bustle of the town. After getting married to a pardesi man from Canada, she took on the adventure of travelling alone. With all the confusion and excitement she reached the foreign shores of Canada and joined the professional jungle for the first time in her life. Working in a range of different places like a greenhouse to a bakery, Manmohanjit always wanted to achieve her dream of opening her own business. She achieved that in 2010 with the help of Self-Employment program and opened her business, Endless Beauty. She provides a permanent make-up and lazer service and is content with her success. She believes that her hard work and dedication have helped her come far. In her spare time she likes to watch Hindi TV shows and enjoys her meetings at Fraser Valley Women’s Network. “I have never missed Punjab because Canada has given me everything and has never failed me achieve success,” says Mrs. Kaur.
