Born and raised in Phagwara, Mr. Kirat Mangal moved to Canada in 1997 with just 100 dollars in his pocket, one suitcase, and a heart full of dreams. Being a survivor of parental loss at an early age he learned to depend on himself and keep a positive attitude towards life. When he first came to Canada he didn’t know anyone, so, his struggle period was harder. After doing odd jobs for two years and making professional connections, he risked opening his own automotive mechanic business. He initially opened his business from his home garage and developed it into a bigger business. Mangal believes his friendliness and positive attitude has helped him achieve success. In his spare time he likes to play with his children and listen to Punjabi music. “I love living in Canada, it’s my home and it has given me every kind of success,” says Mr. Mangal.
