Born and raised in a small town Mr. Birpartab Singh had always dreamed of the distant land of Canada as a young boy. Most people from his small village were settled in North America which fueled his dream further. After dropping out of school he tried hard to get to his vision of reaching Canada, but he had to go back to school to finish his studies, as he wasn’t getting anywhere. After completing school he learnt car mechanics and completed a two year internship which got him through the immigration process. Coming to Canada, he worked with a family friend for four years in a car dealership. He opened his own car repair shop in 2010. In his spare time he likes to play football and go to the Gurudwara. “When I landed here for the first time I could not believe that I was in Canada. I am so grateful to Canada for giving me everything in life” says Mr. Singh.
