Healthcare is a growing industry in BC.
As the province’s baby boomer curve slides into the 60’s and 70’s, healthcare demand will continue to outstrip supply.
There is a need for more healthcare workers of various skills: from doctors and nurses to healthcare office workers and assistants.
Paola B attended Sprott Shaw’s Victoria campus where she completed the healthcare assistant program.
Within one week of graduating, she was hired for her new job.
“My experience at the Sprott-Shaw Victoria Campus was amazing from beginning to end!” Paola exclaimed. “It started the moment I walked into the campus to talk with my advisor, to the moment I rang the bell.”
The bell is rung on the campus whenever a graduate of the college is hired.
"Thank you to all the staff, my amazing instructors Edith, Karin and Denise! I highly recommend the Victoria Sprott-Shaw Campus and the Health Care Assistant program for anyone seeking to further their education.”
With thirteen campuses across BC and the Lower Mainland, and with numerous career courses, Sprott Shaw offers much flexibility for students, whether just out of high school or mature and with families. Whether you are looking for Surrey nursing courses or an Abbotsford accounting program, Sprott Shaw has options for you.
