Bold development comes to Burnaby

Aviara is the bold new Brentwood development being created by Ledingham McAllister (LedMac).
The blue-chip company is investing heavily in Burnaby and sees the Brentwood area as a central growth point for the Lower Mainland.
“We think Burnaby is now one of the most attractive places to invest in anywhere in Metro Vancouver,” explains Manuela Mirecki, Ledmac’s senior vice president of marketing adding the company has built more than 2,000 homes throughout this Lower Mainland municipality alone.
“It’s centrally located within the Lower Mainland, it has a number of well established town-centres that are receptive to new development, it’s well served by public transportation, and 25 per cent of the land is designated as parks or open spaces.”
Soon to break ground at Halifax and Gilmore, Aviara will ultimately soar 34 storeys above the landscape and become a shimmering landmark showcasing the convergence of convenience, sustainability, and forward thinking design. The entire building is shimmering glass punctuated with sweeping balconies that act as sunshades while creating dynamic, private outdoor spaces.
Clustered along the west edge will be three, exclusive townhomes. “These threebedroom, three-bathroom homes are ideal for discerning buyers who need just a bit more space,” Manuela says. “These homes will range from 1,330 to 1,389 sq. ft. and each one comes with a huge, private patio — perfect for people who like outdoor entertaining.”
Convenience is destined to be a way of life at Aviara. Step outside the lobby, and you are within minutes of Brentwood Mall, numerous restaurants, Save On Foods and the Gilmore skytrain station.
