The Boombox Saints are the next generation of hiphop in Vancouver, taking over from where The Swollen Members and XXX left off a few years ago.
The four man group consists of Freeky P, Adlib, Huggy Fresh and DJ Relik. All four are from the Lower Mainland and second generation Filipino Canadians raised on a diet of North American hiphop and R&B pop.
The foursome has garnered considerable media attention for their quality of music and hyped performances alongside some of today’s most successful and respected acts including J. Cole, Kid Cudi, Big Sean, Mos Def, Jay Electronica, Talib Kweli, Souls of Mischief, and Sean Paul.
The group released their debut album “For The Moment” on Oct 23rd.
