When it comes to changing career paths, it isn’t always obvious in which direction to turn.
There are, naturally, many anxieties about the future.
How will it turn out, am I making the right decisions ? The questions are many…
At Sprott-Shaw College, the advisors take considerable time and effort to understand your education needs and the direction in which you want to proceed.
Mila Jahqys underwent her own period of introspection when she returned to school.
However she knew what she wanted to do: open her own business. She just needed some support to get to her destination.
“The advisors assessed my future goals and aspirations, and advised me to combine the business administration course with one in tourism,” she recalls.
“They make you feel like you belong. They are just excellent and the kind of support I got from them was absolutely amazing.”
But the support did not end just with her school term and graduation. It extended beyond her time at Sprott-Shaw College.
“After I graduated, they provided me with a tremendous amount of support, even going so far as helping me with my communication strategy. Without that support I would never have been able to start my own business.”
With thirteen campuses across BC and the Lower Mainland, and with numerous career courses, Sprott Shaw offers much flexibility for students, whether just out of high school or mature and with families.
Whether you are looking for Surrey nursing courses or an Abbotsford accounting program, Sprott Shaw has options for you.
