Designer Profile: Chandrani Singh Fllora

Emerging designer Chandrani Singh Fllora began her label seven years ago and hasn’t looked back since.
Having a keen eye for fashion at the ripe age of 12 Chandrani began putting together outfits for her mother, even advising her on the latest trends. Chandrani studied design at the Wigan and Leigh Fashion College in India.
Following her graduation, she made her national debut for Winter/Autumn 2009/10 at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week in New Delhi.
Chandrani work expresses her belief that women should dress comfortably but with elegance.
Her flawless embroidery sourced from different parts of the country add to the uniqueness of her designs.
Chandrani creates her pieces based on the everyday woman designing clothes that have an easy appeal but are classic staples pieces putting emphasis on both the shape and texture of her clothing.
In a recent interview, Chandrani describes her designs as having slight but restrained 'drama'.
They are for the woman to wear not for them to dominate over the wearer.
In her relatively short career to this point, Chandrani has been recognized as a designer with a keen sense of fabric, impeccable workmanship and remarkable designs. She works closely with all of her craftsman to ensure all pieces are up to her standards.
