Freeze frame for Variety kids with special needs

Miss World Canada delegate recently organised a ‘Freeze Mob’ at Robson Square in downtown Vancouver. A mob of over 200 volunteers froze for three minutes to raise awareness for children who have special needs in BC. Betty Lu, the event organizer and national finalist of Miss World Canada 2015, said the event is an early part of her fundraising campaign for Variety’s Children’s Charity. The Variety Telethon raised $5.9 million dollars this past weekend from its annual 24 hour fundraising showcase on Global TV.
